Quick or Slow-Pressure cooker vs. Crock-pot cooking
How
many times do we just stop and get fast food because there
just isn’t enough time in the day to make a healthy
nutritious meal with all of the other things we have to
do. In this class we will look at two different ways off
cooking that will put a great meal on the table without
a lot of active time or energy. These to form of cooking
are a technique that seems to have been lost in time. Students
will learn the technique of slow cooking in a crock pot
were you can do all of your preparation in the morning then
come home to a slow cooked meal. Students will also learn
the ins and outs of pressure cooking for those of us that
want the slow cooked flavors in a fraction of the time.
Students will prepare: Crock pot Osso Buco, Crock pot pork
green chili, Pressure cooker Asian chicken, Black bean and
beef chili in the pressure cooker.
