Side Dish
I
can think of no single side dish that is served more often
or eaten with more relish than potatoes. In there many forms
and preparations but it all boils down to one thing, we
love this very versatile tuber. In this class students will
learn about the different types of potatoes and how best
to prepare them. Students will also learn several different
techniques for potato preparation as well as different flavors
that you can add to the dishes to change them and make completely
different dishes.
Students will prepare: Alsatian style potatoes, Pommes sarlat,
Butter braised potatoes, twice baked potatoes, Ham and Gruyere
potato cake.
