Get To The Point-Beginning Knife Skills

A good sharp chef’s knife and confidence in how to handle it are the two most important skills any good cook can possess. In this class you will learn the cutting techniques to help your skills grow and thereby make any time in the kitchen a more pleasurable one. This is one of our most popular classes and for good reason. This is the class we recommend for everyone, whether you are seasoned cook or just starting out everyone can benefit from good knife skills.

This class will focus on care and maintenance of your knife, proper knife handling, and several cutting techniques including but not limited to julienne, dicing, chiffonade, mincing and slicing. Because the focus of this class is knife skills a light meal and wine will be served at the end of class.

Saturday, January 15th at 11 am

Wednesday, February 16th at 6:30 pm

Saturday, March 5th at 11:00
