The ABC’s of Wine-A Three Class Series

Wine is simpler than many wine experts will have you think. Whether it’s reading a label or a wine list, matching wines to food, or just choosing a wine to sip with friends, the rules are straight forward. Unravel the secrets of wine in this class designed for the wine rookie.

January 28th
Learn about the primary grape varietals and regions, how to taste, and what to look for in a glass of wine; Students will taste six wines for discussion and analysis.

February 25th
Understand wine scores and learn how to use them to select and remember your favorite wines, Understand wine labels and restaurant wine lists; Students will taste four wines for discussion and analysis.

March 25th
Understand basic flavor sensations; should food be paired with similar or different flavored wines; six wines will be served with food to demonstrate the dos and don’ts.

Fee: $45 each class or $105 for all 3 classes
